Hi Alison – Sending prayers and thoughts to you and yours, and hope that Andrew makes a speedy recovery from this latest hurdle. I am sure the quilt show was very therapeutic for you – love those charm packs you bought – browns are my favourite as well! I haven’t made a charm quilt myself so can’t offer any advice, however I have read of people using the paper bag technique (ie putting the fabric in a bag and drawing it out randomly!). Have fun playing with your new fabric!

I feel somewhat like a lurker too your blog I read often but don’t think I have posted yet-so I thought today it was about time…
oh my prayers are with you all that this infection leaves Andrew quickly…
I think charm square quilts look great done randomly…hope you find the time to get this donme I will be popping back too see the progress,
